Who Wants to be an INTERNATIONAL SEPARATION SCIENCE STAR ISSS2024 contest
You are invited to join our quiz game!
This year the ISSS 2024 symposium will hold a quiz game called “Who Wants to be an INTERNATIONAL SEPARATION SCIENCE STAR ISSS2024”. Each participant of the symposium will be able to participate to the quiz.
The quiz game will consist of 10 multiple choice questions. The participant who answers the most questions correctly will win. In case of a tie, the participant who answered the questions fastest will win.
Participating will be very simple: just connect with your mobile phone to a site that will be shown during the competition to answer the questions without needing to register. Further information will be provided before the quiz game.
The quiz game will be taken at the end of the afternoon scientific session.
Winner
Three artworks will be awarded based on public votes with a prize of 250 € (1st place), 150 € (2nd place), and 100 € (3rd place).

CHROM-ART contest
You are invited to join our CHROM-ART contest!
This year, following the success of the 2022 edition, the ISSS 2024 symposium will hold a creative competition called CHROM-ART. Each participant of the symposium will have a chance to submit one “CHROM-artwork”.
CHROM-artworks are images that are created during chemical analysis and can also be viewed from an artistic point of view (e.g. a sunrise pattern on an HPTLC plate or a chromatogram in a shape of an object etc.). During the symposium there will be an exhibition of CHROM-ART and symposium participants will vote for the award-winning CHROM-ARTWORK (each participant will have a voting coupon which will be given at the time of registration).
If you agree with your Chrom-artwork (image, title, a brief description max. 120 characters space included), and your name being publicly displayed at the exhibition, apply for the contest via email.
How to apply for the contest?
1. Register for the ISSS2024 symposium.
2. Fill out the Chrom-art application form by replacing the text in brackets (). See example.

4. Deadline for submission is September 10, 2024.
